I had expected to get some design work done on Saturday, but the phone rang early in the morning. It was one of my favorite clients asking if I would be available for a photo shoot ….. in an hour. The design work could wait because I would be photographing Wes Chapman, the Artistic Director for the American Ballet Theater II, teaching an advanced master class at In Motion Studio of Dance.
This is why I love photography so much. The camera allows me access to places I would never be able to experience without it. To photograph an artist passing down his knowledge to younger dancers, and hearing his stories was a wonderful experience. Here are six images from yesterdays shoot.
