I had the opportunity to photograph one of the mechanics at the Nevada Department of Transportation. This is one of my favorite types of photography, environmental portraiture. What was also great about this shoot was that I had the freedom to take my time and photograph some of the objects around the shop. I enjoy combining still life’s of one’s environment with the things they see and work with everyday. In this case by taking the time to explore the environment I was able to add content that would give a graphic designer more options in telling their story.
